Just have a thought here, since Naruto in Sage Mode can sense everyone's energies, then doesn't this effectively make Naruto a sensor type?? Also, I think that it would be better for Naruto to just stay in sage mode all the time the way Itachi and Madara always have their Sharingans on.
The only weakness for Sage Mode is that its chakra cannot be replenished while the person is moving, but then if the person is not in battle then there is no use for chakra or Sage chakra, and therefore the person can stay in sage mode for extended amount of time. Staying in Sage Mode has several advantages, one it makes the user a sensor similar to Karin, and sense chakra which is better than smell or sight because chakra cannot be erased or suppressed.
Another advantage is that if the user is pressed into battle, then he/she can begin the battle at the level of the sage, and therefore all his/her jutsus will be many times more effective.

(Kirabi is panting heavily, while Kisame is grinning)
Kisame: That’s all you got, Jinchuuriki? My Samehada begs for more.
Kirabi: (thinking) Hachibi, I need to go eight-tails.
Hachibi: (in Kirabi’s mind) You’re crazy?! What if he drains even more of your chakra?
Kirabi: (thinking) Let’s overwhelm him before he does that! (talking) Sabu-chan, get out of here, the battle will start to be epic!
Sabu: R-right! (runs away; Kirabi starts to go Eight-Tails)
Kisame: Now we’re talking
Kirabi: (while in Eight-tails) You called on the bull, you get the horns! (starts to form a Menacing ball)
Kisame: That doesn’t look good… (Kirabi shoots his menacing ball)
Kirabi: Haha, I killed him!
Kisame: (appears from his Earth Release: Underground Submarine Voyage, at the side of the eight-tails) Good thing I know a Doton or two… well, time to play my trump card. Killer Bee Seven-Tailed Transformation
As his fight with Kisame continued, Killer Bee quickly grew seven tails for his liquid chakra shroud, which like the four-tailed form, only grew an extra tail, but greatly increased his power. However due to Samehada eating his chakra, this form too was not able to effectively damage Kisame.
